hardware specs much better than the amazon tablets, but the software I am unsure of, and sometimes that can make things work better or worse (despite the hardware specs)

I have TCL 20 Pro phone and the software is ok but one thing I hate about it is the battery management software closes apps open in the background at its own whim. Sometimes I get notifications on certain apps and sometimes not.
i have this tablet and for the price it's great, high res means it's fantastic for reading and magazines as well as video. storage SUCKS tho, so don't get this expecting to be able to use it for everything, it is a perfect bedside reader and media player, and 5g lte lets me use it while i travel and tether my machines to it.
for a hundred bucks (i think i paid 140 used for mine about a year ago) you can't beat it

pretty sure that's the lack of memory
I'm not sure, just speaking from experience with Android devices with 4gb of RAM

FireOS cannot compare to a real, unadulterated Android experience. Now granted, I have no idea what kind of bloat these TCL tablets may come with but surely it's better than Amazon's FireOS. And yes, you can remove some of that with Fire Toolbox, depending on which Fire tablet you have, though they've locked it down more with recent releases.
Isn't the Metro deal (not expired) for Samsung A9+ for $70 better? Even if you don't have Metro, creating a new account for 1 month is just $30, making it basically the same price as this TCL tablet.
Kinda wish TCL or Hisense would make higher end tablets, esp hi-sense who actually spends more money on the audio components in their TVs and makes E-Reader's w/ audiophile dac components

That tablet is locked to Metro for a year if you wanted to use someone else's service.
Not trying to thread crap. And I am fully open to being corrected.
Didn't these brands have bans put on them by the US Govt just a few years back because of embedded spying by the Chinese?
Again...not trying to thread crap. In fact, if TCL was not in that, I do hope that somebody corrects me.
And yes, I know that TCL TVs are very common. But a TV is not exactly like a phone/tablet/PC...with you actively entering info all day.
TV got your info as well, so should have banned that as well, unless it is not big enough to compete with a US brand yet. Oh and the robot vacuum cleaner, which is spying on US citizens floor plan… for intelligence!

The fire devices from Amazon don't support the game.
Would this?
