All opinions welcome to this question⁉️: Is it worth buying the Apple Watch Ultra 2, if I already have the Apple Ultra w/ Green Alpine Loop? Caveat is I use the cellular connection. ✨Main concern is how big is the difference between Siri on board?

IMO no. I would personal wait for the next revision. Unless you can sell your Gen1 for a bit to help offset the costs

Appreciate it guys… it's a pain in a$$ at times waiting for Siri to connect, when I want to run a quick shortcut like turn on the lights or even at times just to ask a question… Otherwise, I can care less about everything else about the Ultra 2… Just wish it would process faster in reality that's all I want. — waiting is probably the best bet, because in this economy, probably not gonna get paid anything decent for the Ultra (mint condition or not). Four months or so ago Apple was offering me $420 USD trade in value.

Personally, I bought a used Gen1 used with a year of AppleCare and tax for around $500. Works and looks new.

This is almost $700 with tax for a Gen2 without AppleCare. I don't see an additional $200-250 in value here.

Plus, as others say, if you really want a brand new watch wait for the next release. The Gen2s will then become cheaper than this too. My Gen1 is plenty for me, a couple neat features in the Gen2 but nothing I lose sleep over.

I went from Ultra 1 to 2 just for on board Siri. For me it was worth it. I'm currently not on cellular. I enjoy using Siri for tasks such as recording body weight, starting work outs, etc even away from my phone. YMMV

All valid points. Thank you all. For reference I paid $699 w/o AppleCare (had to add when I received it) - purchased it from the AAFES store tax free December 2022, I have it on AT&T Wireless with his own dedicated cellular plan. Recently added the cellular three months ago. Cellular really made no difference kind of Disappointed to be honest.

I wouldn't upgrade, the difference between the two models is marginal. A newer model with potential design changes is imminent.
