I have these earbuds in front of me. Here's my quick disorganized review. If I lost them today then I wouldn't buy new ones, even at this price. Sound is good, battery life is good, single earbud mode was the most important to me and that works as well. The ANC works well for constant noises like fans or lawn mowers. However, when it's enabled there's an annoying constant hiss in all environments and slight pressure on my eardrums that compels me to keep that feature off most of the time. The pairing sucks. I regularly use them on an Android phone and a Windows desktop, and switching between the two is clunky. For example, if they're connected to the phone, then I have to either disconnect them via the phone's settings, or put the earbuds back in the case, and hold down the pairing button (on the bottom of the case) for a few seconds for them to go into pairing mode, and then go into the Windows bluetooth settings to connect to the earbuds. I've had other earbuds that switch better than these. There's other pairing annoyances that are harder to describe that I won't bother trying to explain. The touch controls aren't great. The controls (double tap and long press) are somewhat configurable, but it's easy to trigger them, there's no triple tap or swipes, and I wish I could configure the buttons to be different depending on if I have one or both earbuds out of the charging case. For example, if I configure the left double tap to be 'play/pause' and the right double tap to be 'next', then it'd be nice if I could make right double tap to be 'play/pause' if I'm only using the right earbud. That way I always have the ability to 'play/pause'. (I don't know how many earbuds actually have that ability, but I find myself missing that feature often.) They are decently comfortable even after a few hours, but they aren't secure in my ear. Even the largest ear hook thing doesn't do much, but I could be an outlier with my big ears. If you want to wear earbuds while in bed, don't buy these unless you plan on always being on your back. These things stick out quite a lot, and will be very uncomfortable if you try putting your ear against a pillow. Also, often the beginning of audio will get cut off. Very short notification sounds coming from the desktop or phone sometimes won't play at all. I assume this is related to the earbuds battery management, but I haven't looked into it. I just know I've had other earbuds that don't have this quirk. Oh, and the 'battery low' voice indicator is annoying. If I'm half asleep listening to something at a barely audible volume, I don't want a robot lady cutting in saying "BATTERY LOW" in my ear at a louder volume, and then waiting 20ish minutes (long enough for me to be half asleep again) for her to say it again seconds before they shut down. Nitpicking I know, just voicing my complaints. They are decent earbuds, especially for the price, but this is how I feel about them.

I have had these for a year. Very good for this price. The noise cancellation is pretty good as well. The only downside is that if I am walking outside and there is wind, people have complained about hearing some background noise, but I can hear them fine. The Soundcore app works well with these as well.

I found the sound quality clear and above average overall. I listen to a lot of Jazz and Metal and I'm able to distinguish musical instruments thanks to the crisp sound. The ANC is also pretty good.

The downside is it can only connect to one device at a time.

A4C list these as being IPX7, Amazon shows them as IPX5. I couldn't find on the Anker website what these are rated as.

Edit: I found a differnt listing on the Anker website that shows them as IPX7.

I prefer the comfort of space travel. The bass on the anker is stronger, but overall I feel the sound of space travel in the mids and highs are slightly more present while still having good, but weaker, bass. The anker app is better than having to sideload Moondrops app. I think ANC is better on Anker, but I don't use ANC much so can't really say. Ankers case is more pocketable and you don't have to worry about the buds falling out.
Both are great; if money is tight go with Moondrop for 21.99 on amazon right now. I think anyone would be happy with either one.

Yes. It has two transparency modes: Fully transparent and Vocal mode. I have not really tested the real life difference in those modes though.

Are you sure it is the same model? The life dot 2 on the anker site looks different. The images seem to match the life a2 NC but the model number is a bit off. I can't find this exact model on the anker site.
