I really like mine. I wish I could get my employer to get me one of these for the office. My 38" ultra wide Dell there looks like crap compared to my ASD at home.

This is an awesome way to turn a MacBook into a desktop computer with a gorgeous display. Just unplug the single thunderbolt cable and off you go. I leave an external SSD attached to the Studio Display so my MacBook does Time Machine backups whenever docked. Also grabbed an aluminum stand off amazon to put the MacBook in when connected. This is the best price I've seen even $50 less than I paid for mine last year! (I got the AppleCare+ for $49.99/yr too, cuz this baby ain't cheap lol)

I know everyone who owns this says it's an unbelievable display, but I cannot wrap my head around spending even half the retail for a display that isn't OLED and 120Hz in this day and age.

I absolutely *love* the design of this display and am generally a fan of Apple's LCD displays (the MBA and iPad Air are great examples), but still hard to justify this. Now if it came down to $800, even if refurb...
