Great TV. I bought it this month from Amazon. Just chatted in and received the $110 refund ($109.5 difference plus tax). Love the brightness and software.

Amazon gave you a price adjustment?! Every time I try and get one they make me return and rebuy, which is absolutely insane.

Yeah I bought a generator from them a couple years ago (obviously not a returnable item). They did a flash sale within 30-60 days where it was $200 cheaper. I took a shot & asked about a refund while it was on sale.

I chatted with a rep & they said Amazon has a "no price matching" policy in general. Either they changed policy or their chat reps aren't consistent…or maybe OP asked to speak to mgmt or something. It could also be that they only match at less than 30 days.

I know this isn't an OLED but for this price what do people think of the image quality? I'm debating between this and the LG 77 (obviously different price points).

A lot of reviews on YouTube comparing this to OLED. One reviewer called stopthefomo had a great review of this compared with its newer model (the 2024), and against LG and Samsung OLED as well as Sony's top end mini led model.

TCL always put a one- year layback for us/eu compare with China. Last year China's flagship has 5000 dimming zones compared to this 2300 dimming zones. This year 851G caught up to 5000 dimming zones but China's new model has 10000 dimming zones at the same size. Why this happens?
