A replacement for Adobe InDesign (Affinity Publisher), Adobe Photoshop (Affinity Photo), and Adobe Illustrator (Affinity Designer).

Publisher is for documents / text-heavy things, Photo is for pictures / raster, and Designer is for graphic design / vector art.
Does anyone know if this license will only work on a single computer or can it be used on a laptop and desktop (something like a 3 device license maybe).

Edit: found the below in FAQs
As a private individual you can install Affinity apps on as many devices as you own which run the operating system you have purchased a license for (of course in the case of a Universal License that means you can install on any iPads, Macs or Windows PCs you own). Other people (for example, members of your household) are also allowed to use the apps on those devices. However, only you are allowed to use the apps for commercial use—if any members of your household need to make commercial use of the apps as well they will need to purchase their own license.
Can't blame them for doing a sale right after Adobe stuck their foot in their mouth (newly updated TOS that pretty much says Adobe has full access to anything you make with their software, can mine it with AI tools, and can make competing products from it).

Adobe has backpedaled saying "that's not what our intent is!"....but the TOS remains the same and doesn't explicitly exclude those things. So someone is BSing you.

Kudos to Affinity for capitalizing on their competitor's mistakes.

I purchased the universal license a while back when it was only 25% off. For me, it was money well spent. I've enjoyed the software, and it was pretty easy to start using. I use Adobe CS6 at work, so that's what I'm coming from.

I don't use it everyday, but when I have, it's worked very well. I know Serif sold the company (a stake or in full, I'm not sure), but they've been actively adding new features after the sale.

This is a perpetual license for those that don't like the subscription model (like myself).

Who knows how long Serif will offer perpetual licenses - even though they've said they will continue business as usual.

Wow this is an awesome price for an AWESOME toolset.

Is it missing some features compared to Adobe products? Maybe. But it can do most of what Adobe can, and for a ONE TIME fee!

If you can get by with these 3 tools to replace Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, you'll be saving money after just one month of subscription fees. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone not with a giant company with money to bleed. Very practical for individual photographers, small contractors, and hobbyists.

This is worth it for nearly everyone considering such a product. Design pros may need Adobe just cuz they're expected to have it, but I'm a design pro that could certainly get by w/ affinity alone!

What I really need is Apple to bring back Aperture. Does Affinity Photo 2 have a decent method or organizing a large image collection or is it only editing?

I mean Photos is pretty good, but if you want a pro level solution maybe Capture One still sells perpetuals? It's Aperture like.
