Truly don't know why they have so many different versions of what amounts to be the same plug. If you are an Android user these in the previous named versions of these work with or without matter certification. On Android the current tapo app supports both tapo and kasa plugs (as well as tapo cameras) under one roof as long as you login with the same TP Link account. In for another multipack as I used my last spare plug yesterday and was waiting for the cheap kasas to fall to $20 or lower.
Edit: of note, these plugs (and most of tp's that don't otherwise say so) do not support energy monitoring. If you absolutely need that you will be paying closer to 10 dollars a plug.
