Around the time of the base game's free promotion, Humble Bundle also ran a Talisman bundle for $10 at minimum to get over 50+ pieces of DLC for this game. It was a mixture of all sorts of things. I just rechecked and it's unfortunately ended.

But for the base game, can't beat free.

Cool, but note that it's permanently free to play so no rush -

As of May 23rd, Talisman: Digital Edition will be available for free on Steam, permanently!

DLC's suck. Nowadays you can't play a game at its core without upgrades that will allow you to crush opponents. If they should choose not to pay then you suffer if someone else does to gain advantages.
Prime weak example: Stumble guys "punch or kick" function. Can't achieve it, gotta buy it.
If this is the path just make every gd game free.

If the game is free and you can support the developers by paying for reasonably priced DLC that didn't have too much of an advantage, then I would be ok with that. You get to test out the game all you want and maybe spend 20-60$ depending on how replay able it is. But releasing half a game then charging for the other half of it a few months later is pretty shady. Pay to win is never fun, you lose either way.

It still works for me. Maybe go to Xbox.com and log in first, then try it. You can also search for the game on the Xbox website to find it.
