I am sure that part of this is nostalgia talking. But man, I have fantastic memories of playing this with my brother and friends as a kid. I keep hearing you can beat it in hours. Maybe you CAN. But we spent forever exploring, battling, leveling up and getting new equipment. So many Easter eggs and secrets.

Ok. Thank you and Last question. Maybe you know the answer.

Is this identical formula as Paper Mario Origami King? (Not the newer paper Mario one that just came out). Played the Origami King and I disliked it. Too many pointless battle-turn mode.

Ignore the folks in here. Bought the game at retail and loved it. Yep, it's easier than the original but who cares?

Mario Party is another game where the internet will have you believing that it should be given away for free due to the limited board selections. YET, when I'm trying to think of something to do with my children guess what gets played? MP! It's a perfect game for "messing around" and killing an hour of time, if not 2 hours.

SMRPG is perfect to just enjoy a 1994 story in 720p/1080p w/minor "corrections"

If you can buy it for under $30, buy it. Else you may jus don't really wanna play it and will keep going "it really should be...."

It's worth $40. It's not like origami king. It's a 12 hour game or so but it's a tight 12hours. There is essentially no fat in the game and just fun the entire time.

Also it is worth it for the graphical update as well.
