It's the only brand I've worn for 22yrs. I love every piece I get. I have some shirts that still look new even though they are 5-6yrs old and washed 50 times a year. Dunno what ghetto version of this brand you bought, but it definitely wasn't from the real source.

The kids backpacks held up pretty well a couple years ago and lasted the whole school year. I was very surprised. Washed it in the washing machine a few times and still looks good.

Have you bought their shorts in recent years? I loved them due to quality, but since the set of Vmonty shorts I got in 2020 and then in 2022, I realized that they're using thinner material that doesn't hold up nearly as well as the previous line.

Volcom was bought by Authentic Brands Group in 2019, which may have led to a decline in quality. However, I am personally happy with their clothes.

Same. I expected a steep quality drop off when they were bought. There was definitely a change in quality but I can't honestly say it was a drop in it.

Since the change of hands I've bought snow gear and regular clothing and everything has been no worse than it used to under the Gucci conglomo.
