This system sounds pretty great to me but I notice a very subtle issue with audio lip sync when connected via hdmi with my 77" lg oled. Im open to suggestions as I've tried a few things which didn't help. Not sure it's a deal at $600 though.

Check the AV sync adjustment option on the TV. You can use it to minorly delay the video to sync up with audio that's "running late" on an external sound device

I got it when it was freshly released and on sale at $700. I went through several issues and finally got everything fixed after several firmware updates. They have stopped supporting it as there is no more firmware update and they removed the 1.20.07.1 firmware from the server. My sound bar is still working well with firmware 1.11.07.1. I would not pay $600 for a several year old model when it was only $700 a few months after released.

Yeah, I still have the Elevate in the bedroom and can't think of any software issues I have with it, but the Samsung Q990C frequently goes on sale for $700-800 and is definitely a massive improvement. I have it in the living room and it fills the larger space a lot better. The Elevate had a great price for how powerful it was when it launched, but better options have come out since that have eventually dropped in price to beat it.

How would. 9.1.2 setup from Samsung compare to this 5.1.4 Vizio system? Does the two two additional upfiring speakers make up for the overall less channels?
