Checked mine out of curiosity. It says clearance and the price is $3299
$2600 is an interesting price, but g3 83 model is not popular due to missing on brightness

Yeah, I had gone in for the G3 deal as well and they had no stock. Walked around and just happened to see this in the magnolia section. Was in store only and this was in pleasant hill CA for reference.

$2579 is a decent deal for a 83" C3 series for this time of year. I picked up two (new unopened) 83" C2's from BestBuy Outlet @$2249 ea. last December.

I would stay away from the G3 83" model as it has the same OLED panel as the C2 & C3 83" for significantly higher (G Series) price.

If you want the nicer / brighter MLA panel in 83" size, you have to buy this years G4 series. However, the 83" G4 is still commanding a premium at about twice this price.


I've been very happy with my 83" C2's... especially since they got the newer C3 style webOS update.

You must not work at one of the 10+ confirmed Best Buy outlets that sold brand new 83" c2's last year for $2249 each.

Maybe you should try search as the thread with many people confirming this price (with store sign and receipt photos) is easy to find.

My local outlet was slow to get them but received at least six when they did. Some outlets got multiple shipments.

I think if you don't leave static images on the screen for tens of hours or days straight, you're probably not going to have issues with burn in.

Ya my screen was fine after year 4 too. It was after 5-6 years that burn in started to slowly show and then it will get worse and worse and it just keeps getting worse because it's cumulative. It never undoes itself lol. I spent $2600 on the E6 thinking I'd be good for 10 years at least considering older technology tv's lasted 15-20. Dropping $2k and the tv pretty much ruined after year 5 is a huge waste of money. Your tv ain't no superhero. The burn in will show up. I don't play any games and I watch stuff of varying types. The c3 oled tv's in sams are only ~a year old lol and the screen is burned in. Ya it plays the same loop but it's only been doing it for a year and it's ruined. Most people watch netflix or some kind of content they prefer over and over and after five years of moderate use the tv will be burned in and ruined which is a shame.

My local BB in was still offering standard discounts on the 83'' C3 (went to check and potentially buy this or the clearanced 77'' G3 yesterday evening and decided to go that route).

I can also confirm the 2249 price at my local BB outlet store in Texas. It was a Killer deal!
