Maybe, maybe not - the text ingredients list does say corn syrup, but the photo of the ingredients list on the box says cane sugar, and does not list corn syrup anywhere. I'm wondering which is correct. On Post's official web site, they have the list with no corn syrup. That makes me think the text in the Amazon listing is likely an error, and a rather stupid one - listing unhealthy ingredients for a product that doesn't actually have them. I reported it to Amazon. I assume they'll ignore it like they always have before when I click on the report-errors link.

for reference, Post's official site:

Corn syrup and seed oils. There's nothing "heart healthy" about this.
It's too sweet !!
I cannot understand why food manufacturers have to add so much sugar to food nowadays.

Thx op, tu and repped! I bought 5 w/s&s/15% discount @2.50 a box. I don't eat cereal but they are great items for donations! nod
Btw, I noted from my prior orders this box is only 14 ounces, my past orders were all 16 ounces.

Looks tasty but high in sugar though. Unfortunately, I'd be hungry in a hour. I wish there were affordable, tasty, lower sugar, higher protein cereals out there. Making eggs every day is a pain.

Easy, to get people to buy it. Despite the vocal minority who always speak up in SD food threads, the masses love sugar. Just look at the concoctions from Starbucks that people buy. People don't want plain coffee and they don't want cardboard cereal.

There's a difference between sinfully sweet ( sticky buns, coffee cake, French pastries, etc)
and disgustingly sweet.
People from Europe are often amazed of how sweet everything is in the US

People from Europe? I don't think that's a real thing, or assumption. Who knows where you got this info from.. but I disagree. People in the whole continent of Europe eat table sugar. It's the same.

12g of sugar per cup.. are you going to say that's disgustingly sweet? This is granola cereal afterall.

they use BHT as preserve, seems pretty bad.

From WebMD

"BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) is a lab-made chemical that is added to foods as a preservative. People also use it as medicine.

BHT is used to treat genital herpes and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)."

Why not just hard-boil a bunch on the weekend and have them ready to grab?
