8 pack is a better deal. $15 off 40 makes them $3.12 per blanket vs 2 pack of $3.48. Seems to be one time use code, so if you used the 2 pack, may be targeted and no longer available.

fire blankets are currently all over amz - another brand has been going for half this (yes, 2-pack) for the last few weeks.

I like some of the stock photos. Particularly the dog and the hiker. If your house is a blazing inferno, I doubt you will have time to stop and put this on your dog rather than just scoop it up and get out of the house.

Fire blankets are standard issue equipment in chemical laboratories and schools that might have students using fire. How these compare to the school version I'm not sure, although typically they are bigger and thicker, but this may be a newer material that works with less material. it's a very good thing to have around.
