If you want to play Fable on steam deck, get the anniversary edition. It works better, including controls.

So is Fable TLC the whole original game + updates or is it just the expansion? Loved Fable II and would love to play the original. Thanks

You're better off buying Fable Anniversary [steampowered.com] which is a "high-definition remake of the game that includes The Lost Chapters."

Usually no. Steam and "Xbox Play Anywhere" are seperate. You have to buy it from the Xbox store/app on Windows PC, not steam. This MAY have changed, I don't know, but here is a link to the forums where they answered this
