I have been patiently waiting and the 25% just makes it too good to pass up, with such a great deal I went with the 30. Thank you so much. I love the warm sound their systems produce.

My refurbished SR5008 from 2015 is still bumping, I do get some feedback occasionally but smack it hard repeatedly and it sounds fine again. I probably dropped it and knocked some solder loose

Keep in mind with AC4L, 4 of the 5 years is through CPS.
I usually don't buy refurbished but if this came with the new 5 year warranty I would give it a serious consideration to the 50.
This even after picking up the 3800 for $1K.
The 50 is much closer to the 4800 performance than the 3800 is imo.
FYI for those that have external amps or plan to and depending on your setup.
Sonically you will not hear much if any difference between 50/40/30.
Unless you need those extra two channels, much better off going with the 50 imo.
I've setup 50 & 40s with 3/5 channel external amps and was hard pressed to hear a difference.
All 3 took advantage of Dirac sale in January and makes a really good marriage imo.
At the very least give Audyssey's new Directional sub integration a shot if you have more than one sub that is.
It works under the same theory behind DLBC.
If you like the signature sound of Marantz & ok with refurbished, this is a pretty good deal either way.
Marantz does not do this very often and not be surprised if this goes quickly.
That 30 is a sharp looking device, I say this as someone who almost always picks functionality over everything else. Seems like this also has function including form at a decent price based on today's receiver market.
What a great price for the 70S. We bought one used from B&H shortly after its release, and it's been a rock-solid driver for our small home theater for the past year, replacing less-capable Costco-special Denon and Yamaha units that both failed within a few months. 70WPC is more than you'd expect, especially if you have a smaller room.
While DIRAC is fantastic software, the included Audyssey tuning has met our expectations, nicely dialing a KEF R2c, 6 Sonance in-wall units, and an SVS 3000 micro sub.
