To be fair, 8GB ram with Gen4 NVME is not that bad. Swap is very very fast. I have an 10th Gen intel company laptop with 8GB ram still in use. At any given time >30 Chrome tabs are opened and I rarely felt it was slowed down. Maybe the SSD will die early though, so make good backup.
But 8gb is not really targeting power users, so it is still a perfectly good deal.

So as far as I know, this could have 8GB stick soldered and an empty slot, or 4GB soldered and 4GB replaceable.
I could not confirm by briefly searching the model out on Google or Youtube though. There may be an empty bank, but I wouldn't "expect" it.
I'd upgrade the SSD for sure. Have some 2TB drives, brand new. I often keep 30-50+ tabs open. My current laptops have slower cpus though. Thanks for your input.
