I have the neo2000. I have used it as offgrid power source for a concrete mixer. It lasted for 4 days of work without a recharge. Very impressed. For 665, I'd recommend. It is roughly equal to 2 100ah lifePo4 batteries, plus 2000w inverter, casing, 4 120v plugs, usb plugs etc. I don't think I can build one at this price with such a compact form.

Have you needed to contact support? There are a lot of reviews on their website about support being nonexistant (yet those reviews somehow are 5 stars, but if you read the actual words they are bad)

for $500 just buy the biggest lifepo4 battery with a BMS like the eco-worth 280a

double the watts, assuming you already have an inverter/charger
Yeah, but that has it's drawbacks..... janky for one. Then by the time you add 12v sockets, usb-a, usb-c, dc out, mppt controller, a monitor system and display you would have saved hundreds just by buying the most expensive one out there. Then, how good are you with your soldering skills, your proper wire sizing skills, etc, etc. Do you have all the crimpers needed to terminate the cables cleanly ? Did you bother to do gradual stepped rise to full load then use a thermal imager and see if anything heats up ? By the time you add up all the items needed to complete your project and the tools needed that you don't already have PLUS your time.... you would be served better, like the rest of us, to just buy one that is ready made.

Now, if you have a narrow requirement like say, running a car refrigerator for hours on end. Then yes, you can go cheap and just have a battery and 12v socket. But then you'll think, hey it would be nice if I could charge it while the car is running.... it would be nice if I could charge it via solar, via wall socket, be able to use it with usb stuff, dc out etc..... Ask me how I know ? lol, yep did that..... would have been better off buying a ready made one which I did..... but I still have the janky one that I never use.

The reviews are 99% Vine reviews meaning they received the product for free. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. I don't trust Vine reviews because whenever you get a product for free, you're much more likely to think positively since you don't have any skin/money invested.

100% agree, there appear to be less than 2 legit reviews for this product (neo1500) or the other (neo2000) that I can find.

How do you figure out how long something will run on something like this? Say I have a 110v window ac unit with a soft start, it only uses 445watts, not sure about the amps yet with the soft start. I was thinking about ordering 3-4 100ah 12v batteries.

It is a digital controlled one, the area is very small so it wouldn't constantly be running but for arguments sake, how long would it run on this nonstop?

I went through that thought process when looking at the Eco LiFePO4 battery deal. After searching for inverter and solar charger prices, I decided to stick with a ready-made power station.

Have the same brand but with a 2000 Wh capacity, NEO2000. Bought it last August for $750. I use it to power my desktop PC and network equipment during peak hours. Doubles as a UPS. Works well to save myself about $0.50 a day or so during summer rates (costs an insane $0.61/kWh here) combined with a smart plug to switch off & on to battery power automatically.
Had very few issues, mainly with the screen bugging out occasionally. Just shutting it off and on again fixes it.
Happy with my purchase so far. Haven't had to deal with support yet though.

It's interesting. I can find a lot of reviews for the NEO2000 by independent reviewers, but nothing for the NEO1500. This must be newer?
