Might be waiting awhile. They don't make a 75" OLED
I'm not sure $2,499.99 is the market rate for this TV. Amazon has it for $1,596.99. So this is a slightly reduced price?

Regular price is now $1,600. Best price on "colorful foot appendages" recently waa $1,400 (includes tax). This is a pretty solid price.

Why don't we ever see deals on the 42? Would love to find a good deal on that one.

Target had a sell off of them like 2-3 months ago. They were $360 at stores that still had them. They are long since gone.

Has anyone ever purchased a TV from Woot before? A little concerned about how a big ol' TV is shipped.

It's both funny and irritating that Woot (an Amazon-owned company) always lists a "Pointless Price" (and describes it):
Quote :
"Suggested retail price provided by our vendor OR a Strike-through price imported from our overlord Amazon BUT not necessarily the sale price… in short, it's a little pointless."
In this case, this useless piece of information is "$2,499.99 46% off Pointless Price". I'd think they'd be worried as major lawsuits in the (distant) past have cited this as clear fraud. Maybe Amazon will pay a $250 fine or something in the future.

I would not want to buy a TV from woot. I ordered an Apple Watch from them one time and they sent me a much cheaper model than the one I ordered. It took them a very long time to fix the issue and I had to threaten a chargeback to get them to do anything.

After hitting burn-in on my 4 year old LG OLED, the I'm going to replace it with whatever retailer offers the longest and most comprehensive warranty. Seems like Best Buy has the best reputation there.

No burn-in here but the top 1/2" of the screen is beginning to show some serious pixel degradation after just a couple of years -- and of course LG couldn't care less Stick Out Tongue

I understand this option won't work for everyone, but if you have access to the LG Partner store via your employer, then the 65" C3 is available for $1440-5%=$1368 plus tax. Also, if you have an AmEx card, they currently have a 4% back offer if you purchase directly from LG.

The same partner store had a 10% Memorial Weekend sale discount, but it is no longer available.

I got the 65 C3 during the Memorial Weekend sale from the LG Partner Store for $1296+$81 tax=$1377 total. Minus $55 via the AmEx promotion. Then my delivery got delayed and LG gave me $100 refund + 2 additional years of manufacturer's warranty. So there are definitely benefits when buying directly from LG.
