This is great collection of games but note that the Switch version has some significant input lag, even in handheld mode. It's bearable in my opinion in many of the games, but is definitely noticeable when compared the NSO or Sonic Origin versions of games that are on both and can cause you to mistime some things. In Sonic 2 for example if I tap jump I'll have my finger lifted before the jump actually occurs and feels more weighty during the special stages but it's playable if you can compensate. The jump input lag is enough so that if I spin dash and jumpy where I think I should to grab the first line of rings at the start of the game, I'd miss the first ring but hit the rest where I have the timing perfect in the NSO and Origins versions.

Not sure if this a JoyCon only issue or can be corrected with a different controller. Still a good buy for all the non-action games or if you have a high tolerance of input lag.

Also, for some reason is missing Sonic 3 and Knuckles despite having 1 and 2, while all the mainline Sonic games were in the Steam version at launch. (Though all the those Sonic games are still missing from the Steam version if bought after Sonic Origins released last I heard)

Edit: Refreshed my memory by playing a little and added some detail about the amount of lag.
Phantasy Star II was such an amazing game for the Genesis when it was released in 1990. Gonna buy this just to play it again 30+ years later.
Worth it for just the Golden Axes.

I have it on Playstation. It's a great collection. Very fun to kill some time with. The Phantasy Star and Shining Force games were some of my favorites as a kid.

Shining Force 1 and 2 are two of the most underrated games of the 90s console era.

It was available on both, even the original NES. I didnt have it on my 2600 but did play it on the Genesis and thought it was a Sega game. I was wrong and now I see why it's not on the list.

Great set of games, can easily emulate and locate these for free, but this is a very nice and neatly put together package, if I had a switch I would be in for 1.

Anyone know if there's endless continues or lives? I like old games but TBH I just like whipping through them with minimal effort then play them again in a year or so.
