I got this keyboard about a year ago on another sale. It's pretty solid, but I eventually switched to another keyboard because the blue switches are very clicky/loud, and I really missed the numpad. Beware that the keycaps are ABS and not PBT, and I had an issue with the legend on the A key wearing off, but Logitech support was very good about it.

Wife hates that this keyboard is super loud and super clicky and whenever we have work from home the same day, she has to wear headphones. I can't even play during those days at all.

Otherwise, it's a very good FPS keyboard as it gives you extra room to move the mouse. The keyboard is also responsive as you expect to any gaming keyboard.

I have this with gx clicky blue switches. It's a good keyboard for the price, mine was around $60. The switches allow me to type faster and with less errors compared to the browns, which have barely any tactile feel. Would I buy it again? Sure at around 60. Closer to 100 and I would start searching for options.

I am looking for a replacement primary keyboard though as I prefer volume knobs or some sort of dedicated button instead of this FN stuff. I also want to upgrade the switches.
This keyboard though is great if it fits your needs. The software is fine, I haven't noticed anything worth mentioning or remembering.

This is my daily driver. I actually thought i couldn't live with numpad, but my productivity has not be impacted. My shoulder is thanking me.
Only thing missing is a volume knob, I'll wait for the latest version to come down in price which has it.

It is a good compact keyboard.

So I'm not a gamer but can someone explain why mechanical keyboards that cost so much are the preferred choice?
