I think Sonance MAG series is not the premium level of their speakers, they seem to be a different product line(lower level) compare to Sonance standard speakers VP series(VP66r, VP68r), etc. You can tell the difference by warranties, the MAG series has only 1 year warranty, and VP series has 5 years or lifetime warranty.

They are simply a partnership with Magnolia, hence the MAG, and I've seen that build quality and measurements are fairly similar. Didn't know about warranty difference, good insight. Still an incredible value - otherwise you're looking at Yamaha, Polk, entry level Klipsch, and none of those will compete with these Sonance speakers. One of the best values out there (when on "sale").

The down voting is nuts. The system retails for $4k let's say you audiophiles think it's over priced ok but even at $2k in value it's 50% it's now 75%
