At this $999 price for a 16 inch laptop, it compares favorably to any 4060 laptops from a spec standpoint.

Cpu a bit on slower side (not slow by any means) but the 6800m easily outperform the 4060.

Great deal if the form factor fits you.

I would still go for the walmart deal you posted for the lenovo slim 9i if i were a creator that games occasionally despite the higher price.

The 6800m outperforms the 4060 even though it is an older graphics card?

According to this link the 6800m is just under a 3060 laptop gpu

Please don't cite that website as a reference. It along with cpubenchmark are absolutely useless. They use only synthetics and the link you showed in particular is ONE, single synthetic benchmark.

It's slotted above a laptop, full power 3070. Many other game benchmarks have it sitting a tad or ~ to a 3070 ti. If specs/price are similar, I'd go for a 4060 over the 6800m for the added feature. Performance wise, you're splitting hairs between all these cards. They're all within spitting distance of one another.
