Seems decent. Never used an arc but the a550m benchmarks are close to an rtx 3050 and has a little more vram. I'd be interested if I was in the market for a budget gaming laptop but good find 👍

Good specs, but people saying <1 hour battery life with a slightly lesser machine, same CPU, so this is a desktop replacement sitting in a laptop format at best. Noisy, hot, loud all reported from similar X15 machines.

Hmm... Is this better than the microcenter Lenovo loq $500 deal?
I'd say this ones slightly better as it has an i7 of the same gen. Though, you're giving up Nvidia GPU for a seemingly equivilant Intel GPU but with 8gb instead of 6. Pretty solid actually. I may pick one up to use as a backup audio production/ graphic design machine. I mainly use mac, but would be cool to have a windows laptop handy.

Yeah no Nvidia gpu.. I7 vs i5, I'm not sure if that really matters that much. Hmm..
This is like the modern day Gateway Creator Series (Ryzen 5 / GTX 1650 mobile) from Walmart four years ago, which I still use. Same price-ish as it was then. Really nice specs across the board for $510 for a desktop dwelling laptop.

It's one thing to buy a generic desktop where you can swap parts or display on your own. But a laptop?
I don't think so.
