Why would you post this here? None of the Woot prices are anywhere close to this monitor. Do you see a deal on this list that I may be missing?

I noticed this monitor with higher 1920x1200 resolution, "professional" model with more ports and better stand.

Also the 24inch version monitor in the original post for $85 but Factory Reconditioned instead of new https://computers.woot.com/offers...-monitor-2

edit: oops this is the 24in version instead of 27in (Factory Reconditioned instead of new). Samsung's model numbers for these are horrible confusing vomit Confused

This is a low resolution monitor with a fairly low refresh rate. It's worth about $109. Last I knew LG had the best IPS displays.

I bought two of the 24 inch versions of this about 5 years ago (I think), and was the first IPS monitor I ever had, which was interesting. Didn't have much backlight bleed compared to some newer things I've bought recently, but within the first month each monitor had lots of dead pixels. Monitors both work well to this day and the 75 herts refresh rate is nice. Probably wouldn't touch this at 27 inches because I can barely see the individual pixels on the 24 inch from where I sit. I would probably look for a different monitor from a reputable seller with a good return policy and just try one on sale, Acer has surprised me a couple of times.

Edit: I think had the t350 not this, apologies. I can't speak to this at all, so please disregard anything I said about this particular monitor. Though I think the specs are similar.

I've had a 27" 1080p monitor and dpi is just too little. Unless you have problems with your eyesight, 27" monitors should be 1440p.

I'm on the edge with this. My local Sam's Club has this same model for $99.00 which I thought was a great bargain. But now I see it's really not that much of a discount, comparatively. I've been considering picking one up for my teenage gamer but I am cautious to get a screen that's capped at 1024 and 75hz. Do most gamers play at higher res and refreshes? I read a few articles online that said this is a good entry point for casual gamers. Only "pro gamers" benefit from the expense of higher end gear. Thoughts? TIA.
