I've used other Twinings' tea KCups before but, I just got these today and it created a crazy strong suction in my Ninja and when I muscled the lid open, I got a nice spray of tea to the torso. I haven't tried a second one yet but, kind of strange I have never had that happen with all of the other KCups I've used in this machine.

According to one article: "Probiotics are sensitive to heat. Exposing them to temperatures significantly above room temperature can damage or kill the live cultures, reducing their effectiveness."

Using this much plastic is huge waste when teabags do a perfectly fine job

if you don't care about the Probiotic part and only care about Lemon + Ginger tea then Sam's club have the best deal.

Biglow 100 ct for $9.23. I use 2 teabags with half a mug of hot water and it helps me a lot with my chronic acid reflux after a big meal. never failed so far and thanks to it I don't need to use tums, yogurt or any other medicines anymore.

Edit: I just realized this deal is about K-cups, not Tea Bags as I was suggesting. I will keep my original post.

Poor execution? Wouldn't shelf storage deplete the probiotics and then heat destroy any that survived?

The less people buy k cups, the quicker they can go out of business. No serious tea drinker will drink tea from a K-Cup. Plus probiotics don't do well with heat.

Just to emphasize, pouring boiling water onto bacteria isn't good for the bacteria. The claim here is obviously bogus.

Maybe the air passthru in the teabags does something to the probiotics

This strain is shelf stable and resistant to heat.
