i like buying in advance from online and use months later in case there's a recall, i will be notified from where it was purchased. buying at the store has no method of alerting the consumer.

Not a bad idea but if I remember correctly, I believe all of these recalled eyedrops were preservative free. These drops have anti-microbial preservatives.

Can you put them on when wearing contact lenses?

So you put these on when your eyes are dry? What about when it is very red?

What about if you have something stuck in your eye? Does these help to get something out of your eye?

Yes you can use them but preservative free (which these are not) are recommended for use with contacts in case the preservative lingers for longer.

Red eyes are often symptoms of dry eyes and although these drops don't target the redness, they should help with discomfort. Drops that target redness often make the dry eyes worse (so their use is not recommended). If you have chronic red eyes you should look into getting that treated. You could have tear production issue or oil gland dysfunction.

Warm compresses to open follicles then gently scrub/massage with baby shampoo on soft cloth every morning and night, no eye makeup, do not touch eyes (most ppl don't realize how often they do), erythromycin OINTMENT if especially bad.

No, contrary to the other reply, these are not certified for use with contacts. There are special versions made to be compatible with contact lenses. Check the reviews for those wearing contacts.

Note these are actually not approved for use with contacts - reviews confirm.
