Still available btw! Here's a link to the Amazon page [amazon.com] if you're curious about reviews.

It used to be around $1600. For $550, it's a damn good deal, even though refurbished. Bought one. Thanks!

I came across this video when doing research on the Edition XS (refurb also on sale right now for less than half the price of the Arya Stealth): https://youtu.be/DEEhqsASBj0?si=3jWgimjW58WYxd2p

He compares both the Arya Stealth and Edition XS and provides recordings of the output from both headphones, so you can compare for yourself. I won't spoil the outcome but there seems to be a decent majority on what the author and commenters prefer. I fell into the same group after listening to the samples.

Though this isn't the most scientifically infallible test because the audio you're hearing is being funneled through multiples stages of coloration, mainly your personal listening chain. But still interesting how close the samples sound.

I own both headphones and my findings are the exact opposite from that reviewer on YT - I enjoy the Arya Stealth and they are much clearer with a taller soundstage and better bass. The XS is a great headphone for the price but the Arya's outperform them. I don't think I'd pay the original $1600 for the Arya Stealth but this price cut makes them worth it.

I realize that everyone hears things differently but what he described is opposite from what I hear.
