"trust the science" but you didn't share any?

Alcohol (assuming IPA based on your stated concentration) will do nothing to inorganic compounds, and vinegar is a weak acid that will work on some lime and rust, but is such a low acidity that you'd be wasting your time if you have very hard water.

People should understand the chemistry behind what they're making, and what is needed to lift a stain. If a solution works for someone else, it is not a "cleans everything" solution, nor is it even the best solution. A proper match up goes much farther than elbow grease any day of the week.

Yes, seems this has been the regular price on Amazon for at least a year. I have no idea where someone got that fake $15 regular price from, but it seems to be fooling people into thinking this is a great deal.

It is amazing for cleaning stainless steel! Both for the worst kitchen messes (imagine a SS cooktop that you spilled sauce onto and then burned to a crisp), as well as just removing discoloration (think that weird tint that your sink tends to get)
It doesn't scratch?

I already have a bottle in the bathroom, but might pick up a couple spares. This stuff cleans shower stains like nothing else I've ever used ( & I tried a LOT of other products ). I have breathing issues, so I need something I can use to clean the shower as quickly as possible, & this stuff does the job & them some.

Isopropyl is relatively safe, leaves almost no residue, and dissolves non polar compounds. It's used as a cleaning solvent in a ton of industries. There's nothing about a bathroom that makes it particularly unsuitable, the variety of stains is much too great for such dismissal.

I did not even know it came in this form. Do you have to shake it a lot like the liquid squeeze bottle version? (I found the squeeze bottle one has a lot of the powder stuck to the bottom)

I will preface my comments noting that we are on a well with lots of iron/rust and mineral deposits, even with a water softener. The liquid squeeze bottle version of this is the only thing that can get our vinyl surround in the kids bathroom remotely back to white. It takes some scrubbing and multiple applications sometimes. A spray version is attractive for quick cleans or areas that are a tough to get into. I do wonder if it has the same results though.

For the person who does the vinegar, dish detergent, etc, sorry that only works on glass enclosures (and really well, it's my go-to). It does not even begin to touch the kinds of deposits we have from well water.

And for those still reading, if you have iron deposits in your toilet, Lysol Rust & Lime on occasion, and regular upkeep with Lysol Power is a lifesaver. I also put a White Clorox tab in all my tanks and that helps too. (I have a trick for really bad toilets but since I'm pretty sure that produced a toxic gas, I won't be doing that again and I won't post that accidental recipe.)

But this stuff is the real deal. Will make bathtubs, shower doors, tile, etc look brand new.

It's our miracle cleaner for our rental properties

Does the spray contain abrasives like the powder to polish?

The only problem with using this in the shower is it smells toxic and gags you. Definitely need to use in well ventilated areas.

I use the same combination for all general cleaning purpose and for the electronics I use 1 part alcohol and 1 part water, so that it dries faster without damaging the equipment, even TV, Computer screens.

Absolute ripoff for the price if that is what you are using it for , make it yourself
is this the 2024 version of a miser?

i can understand making something that costs $30 yourself (even then it's not worth my time), but $3?

Time is money and you just lost a lot of it

LOL

I have been using this in the bathroom with amazing results and even have hard water. Yes it doesn't smell the best, but for the price per ounce and results it is worth it, just wear a mask or add some essential oils.

I have a floor to ceiling glass enclosure on 3 sides and this cleans better than anything out there. Trust the science.

1 part alcohol
2 part vinegar
7 parts water

So 500ml....

350ml water
100ml vinegar (I use 5% you can use higher if you can find it )
50ml alcohol (I use 91%, 70% is fine and will work )
4 drop any dish soap (I use dawn platinum)

Math:

(1 part) Rubbing alcohol 70%
$2 for 16 Oz.
(2 part )Vinegar 5%
$1.50 for 32oz
4 drops 💧 of dish soap
$.20 cents
(7 part) Water 112oz.

So 1 and 1/4 GALLON costs roughly $3.70 or .02 cents an ounce.

This deal would be .50 cents at the same per ounce.....so 7x cheaper.
To avoid smell, try mixing 1/4 cup citric acid with 5-6 teaspoons of dawn into a paste and use it along with a spray bottle with water. Use filtered water or a squeegee afterwards to avoid mineral spots on a glass
