I got two through woot. I ordered them on 61 6/2024. They arrive today and they came from focus camera via woot and the manufacture date. Thank God. APC + QC labels on was 611/20/20 with both battery packs completely discharged. That's right. 4 years they sat cuz they were both manufactured on June 11th, 20, 20, 23 minutes apart and somehow focus camera got their hands on them and then woot. Must have bought them from focus camera but they ought to know better because if you leave a UPS battery just sitting for 6 months and it fully discharges it's not coming back. It really isn't as permanently damaged now. You can imagine 4 years.

I've got to look at woot's return policy. I think they want you to pay the shipping back. I'm not sure. If so, I'm going to be very upset because these battery packs are too expensive to purchase. I only paid $150 each. I think the battery packs are like 80 bucks a piece. I'd have to check ... But with a high quality unit like an APC, it's generally good to go with their specific battery. So buyer beware. Check the label that should have been taped to the side of your unit. It was printed out by quality control and has about 46 parameters on line 6 will be the serial number and on line two I believe is the manufacturer date

They've got it on woot but I bought two and they both were manufactured on June 11th 2020 and came with dead batteries. That's pretty suspect. Also they had sealed boxes original but the boxes had focus camera on them. So who knows? I would never buy anything electronic from woot now... As I talked to APC and the bx1500m is still in production so they're selling new ancient stock and those batteries cost 80 bucks a pop

You don't need sine wave unless it's got a compressor bro.. pure sine wave is really expensive and I've been running air conditioners off of non-sine wave and they have very small compressors on them and they've been going steady for 2 and 1/2 years now. If I had a $5,000 refrigerator, I'd be running a pure sine wave ups to prevent the compressor from lugging.... But the AVR is actually more important than the pure sine wave. If you're not talking about a hyper small compressor, like I said, I'm running two Midea 12k btu u-shaped air conditioners and they have a hyper small compressor on there and for the price I paid for him I'd be damned if I put a pure sine wave on them. I'm pulling near a thousand w and a thousand w pure sine wave. UPS is going to cost you 300 bucks. If it's an APC don't buy cyberpower they use that yellow adhesive that turns acidic and conductive and starts fires. Look it up. Just always buy anything with a battery in it from Amazon because if you get it from woot it could end up like what happened to me 4 years and one week post production passing through one vendor snapped up by woot... Plus woot is a pain in the butt to navigate cuz they've got all that nonsense on there. They should just put the deals on there and dispense with all that nonsense and goofiness. I mean I enjoy purchasing but I don't like to sift through a bunch of bags of crap and all that stuff ...come on.

So don't worry about sine wave worry about buying APC over cyberpower because cyberpower has not acknowledged it but allegedly according to a very in-depth video on YouTube, they're using an adhesive to hold various conductors, capacitors, etc. On their motherboard and that as a function of time has been shown to become corrosive conductive and scorch motherboards. We don't want any fires from these things because at least apc's made in Janesville, Wisconsin by Schneider electronics
