anyone tried these? been looking for a new speaker set up for my PC
I had them - wound up returning them. The sound quality was decent. Typical Logitech - boomy bass, adequate mids, lackluster highs. But good for gaming, as long as you don't expect studio monitor type fidelity for music.
With these, you're paying a premium for the RGB lighting, which can be synched to your display with Logitech's software. It's a cool effect, but I didn't really care for it b/c I try to keep my office more minimal and restrained. But if you like the idea of immersive lighting, and you don't mind their software always running in the background, they're pretty neat.
If you don't care about the lighting, the Z623 offer better sound quality for around the same price. They don't have a built in DAC, though. And the DACs in many PCs are crap. So that's something to consider.
