This is normal price for it. It has been $34.99 for as long as I can remember because I've been keeping an eye on it for months. I'd wait for better price.

I am not getting the coupon, and the code doesn't work. I have several 1st Gen 4K Max Firesticks, but I need a 2nd Gen Firestick due to its ability to passthrough more audio formats. Amazon is selling refurbished 2nd Gen Maxes for around $35. It would be cool to get a new one for around the same price.
