There are many people who don't drive, can't drive, don't have a vehicle, or for some other reason can't or don't want to, or prefer not to shop physically in the store.
Instacart provides a service. It doesn't sell groceries or other physical items. The stores sell the items, Instacart shops for pickup and/or delivers. There's a cost to that which many of us are willing to pay either due to necessity, convenience, or simply because we want to.

It is entirely separate. Any cart or order placed on one website is not available to view on the other. Any instacart gift cards applied to one or not available on the other. Delivery scheduling is also separate.

What tip is expected for a $50 order?
I'm seeing a grocery item with $4.40 off -- would in store similarly have such a $ off promotion? With the $4.40 off, the costco sameday price is cheaper than the regular costco in store price.

Edit: they cancelled because out of stock.

I found their comment a helpful reminder.

Though you're mostly correct, I do get a kick out of you suggesting that people would pay Instacart "simply because we want to". That little tidbit completely undermines the rest of the statement. Now you just sound ridiculous.

Edit: I see where it says enter "promo code OR gc's". But can you use both?
