Or those that just get their oil changed pre-winter, you easily can supplement this for summer vs 5w30.

Not sure what this guy is on about. This is perfect for small engines that require 10w-30 or any car that calls for it as well. API rated so use it no issue, just would not go for any extended length oil changes. Almost all API SP oils are a syn blend these days anyways.
