The promotion begins on June 20, 2024 and ends on September 30, 2024 (the "Promotion Period") in the United States of America ("Qualifying Country").

Depends on if you need custom spec from Apple or retail models and how you value the free Apple GC -- not as good of a deal for expensive Macs since those come on sale with similar discounts (great deal for cheaper MBA)

That may well be your personal opinion, but I am specifically talking about the brand new M4 iPad Pros w/ OLED display. To date, the best deal on this iPad has been $944 at Amazon or $899 at Apple Edu pricing (which anyone in the US can take advantage as they don't verify status at all online). This deal nets the purchaser an additional $100 Apple Gift Card on top. So if you were buying this model anyhow, now is the time to do so.

So with that being said, YES, this is a slick deal if you are looking for one of these recently released OLED iPads. If you are not, then absolutely there are bigger savings available on one and two year models for sure. Apple and oranges here. It's like telling someone the minivan they just bought (for their own reasons, maybe got a big family lol) is a terrible deal because they can get a used convertible for less lol. Regardless of pricing, I never want a 13" iPad myself so your rationale doesn't apply. Read the post before commenting.

I would call Apple support and see what they recommend. Hopefully, they just send the $100 gift card Instead of making you ship it back and purchase a new iPad.

As long as you are within the 14 day, return window, Apple should work with you!

Yes -- the checkout page lets you apply up to 8x GCs but you can also save up to $2000 worth to your Apple Account balance

Been waiting for this sale to come around for my sister -- just ordered a MBA 13in/M3/8GB/1TB version for her

Had discounted Apple GCs saved to my Apple Account balance -- no problem paying in full with that (1st time buying a Mac but I have an iPhone linked to my Apple account)

$1499 retail price -- $1379 edu price w/ free $150 GC

$1456 total paid with GCs and getting $150 GC back -- basically $1229+tax = $1306 shipped

I'm going to wait until winter for the MBP w/ M4pro to buy for myself

Stocked a lot of apple GCs. the only issue I had with Apple is they jack price a lot for RAM upgrade and SSD upgrade. The min spec I need is 16/18GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

e.g. for the lowest Mac Mini, after upgrade, it goes to $959 from $399, crazy?

I am not much into apple services - so I am not sure how I would utilize that GC. Quick question- how long is the GC valid and can something be purchased after couple of years if I want to purchase from apple.com or does it have a short validity? Also what other places can this GC be used?
