You really need to be embedded in the game and equipment to know that nothing in golf is really revolutionary. Would you be surprised if I said the concept of a hollow iron club was first introduced in the 90s? Only finally being popular in the last few years.

This is the same thing for the zero torque concept. Even Odyssey had a line called the Backstryke that released nearly 10 years ago. It's absolutely hideous, and really never marketed properly.

So this literally defines fad. LAB is a startup that became popular due to social media. They took an existing concept, marketed and branded it. Give it another few years to see if they're still in business.
5ish pros using the putter as well. Lab CEO actually likes the backstryke he did a video on it. Lab putters still out perform it imo. Regardless of what you want to call it, literally anything on any market works for some people and not for others. You're just a goofball for stating the obvious but trying to sound woke. Some people hate PE paintball markers. Some love them. Your focus is way too much on this idea of a fad. They've been in business 6 years, fairly sure they are doing well.

Lol...Scotty Cameron's are more of a "fad" than this. There is actual technology here that distinguishes it from other putters. You can go to a club champion and put it in a revealer tool versus any other putter and you can see for yourself if you don't trust the videos on it.

I currently own a mezz and it's been revolutionary for me. After seeing my significant performance improvement with it, I've convinced 2 other buddies to get it themselves. I've tried and owned the DF 2.1 and the the original blade that looked like a stick of butter and the new one called link. The original DF was monstrous and amazing at keeping line but I couldn't get my distance control nailed with that one. The blades were harder to keep on line with mishits. The mezz has been amazing at both for me. You can also directly reach out to the company if interested to see if they have any "factory second" putters. They work perfectly fine except for minor cosmetic blemishes for a discount.

If it doesn't work for someone I think the reason why is because they're not able to alter their stroke. The whole idea with this is the face stays balanced so you have to get used to not manipulating the face open and closed like you've been used to your entire life with other putters. So you do have to put in some work to get used to it. Best drill I found for it is practicing with your thumbs off the putter.

As you can tell I'm a huge fan of these putters.

Second getting fit. The remote fitting is extremely accurate. Sent the video and they sent back my exact specs of my putter. I've played with many different brands, armlocks everything. DF3 counter balance by far the best putter I have used. They do take some time getting use to but once you get it down it's money.

My online fitting was incorrect. But it's garbage in, garbage out - so that's on me. I used my gamer putter but used my "compensated" putter swing because that's how I grooved it. I didn't realize I should have used my "incorrect / natural" putter swing to purposely display how my putter actually moved through the arc.

Either way, I tested the DF3 multiple times at my local PGASS and fell in love with it. Custom DF3 on order! We will see if my Scotty stays in the bag or not…

You just need to read some of the threads on golfwrx and other forums. It's not just broomstick length, people are dumping out of them because like most fads they have their moment and then it's gone. I mean, is this really that different than the original Scotty phantom with the weird shape and pulled.back weight?

Look, if they work for you, cool. But they DEFINITELY don't work for everyone, and they are DEFINITELY one of the most blatant abusers of "free products" to YouTube influencers to get the hype train going. In fact, they even have an account at golfwrx and try to tell people they are wrong if they don't like them. Seems a bit funny to me, like it's marketing more than innovation.
You should put some more time into the science behind the Lie. Angle. Balance (L.A.B.). Do a quick search on the the putter revealer. It's nothing like a Scotty Phantom. Source: I own both and play to a 7.

I didn't try the code on this putter, but I attempted it on the new Odyssey Ai-One putters, and it's excluded from discounts. Just FYI

Please tell me you've actually spent some time with one of these before making such a bold statement?

I was thinking about the counterbalanced DF3...what are your thoughts on this vs standard? If you go CB, did you also go with the "heavier" head weight? For you, is CB make lag or short putts easier/harder? In my mind it feels like it would make the stroke super stable.

These are the current fad in putting. You'll see tons of conversations about this brand because they give putters to tons of golf influencers on YouTube. The reality, like most fads, you will also see a ton of these putters for sale on eBay and in golf forums. So you can draw your own conclusions about why that might be
I have had one for 2 months and my putting has dramatically improved. I came from an odyssey white hot blade and an odyssey triple track 11. Once you get used to this putter it's a complete game changer. Fads are shitty Scotty Cameron putters that have been the same for the last 20 years but people still pay like 400-600 dollars for one. I honestly cannot recommend this putter enough. I rarely push or pull a putt these days.
