I believe its a good price. Switch games just don't drop in price. Some launch games are still $60 if purchased without any promotion or deal. I know nintendo made games generally hold their value but I've never seen a console have their games stay at launch prices for so long. Then go back to them after sales. Usually they drop to say $39.99 then sale for $29.99 then back to $39.99 after the sale. Something like that. Maybe other consoles have this happening and I missed it idk. I haven't been gaming as much in the last few yrs do to life and since its mostly remakes and rereleases that are good these days. Which I still own the original copies anyways.

Yeah I'm going to try and wait to see if it hits $29.99. I have a big switch backlog so I'm not in any hurry myself.

The Mario and Rabbid games are published by Ubisoft so that explains why they drop in price fast. As for Nintendo published games, the most we'd probably ever see is $27-30. Been a while since some games have hitten $27 though.

This has been $40 a lot since it was released not too long ago. I assume the demand for the game dropped off a lot. Might go lower.

The Mario and Rabbid games dropped down to $20. I played Super Mario RPG so many times when I was a kid on ZSNES and I don't know how they can justify 60 bucks for a graphical update and a performance downgrade in FPS which alters combat.

FYI this is not the US version, it is actually the international version for those that care.

So $18 for a month to use GameFly or buy game for $40 then resell for $30. I'd rather buy with the option to keep

Because it's a built from the ground up remake. Not like they just touched up the graphics a bit. Lol

Any oldies out there who played the hell out of this game as a kid? Curious how the game was received by someone like me.

I bought at $55 at release. Just finished it. No regrets. Nostalgia is strong and I wanted them do make this for the longest time. First timers will still love the charm of this game.
Some will complain about the length, but i rarely finish games, so short games don't bother me.
Took my time and still came in under 20 hrs

Alters combat? It is turn based combat, not free roam. Don't know how fps can mess that up, I have had no issues in that regard
