An old model but good enough if someone's on a budget. You'll also need the access points tho

I have four of these, one on each floor of my house connected with ethernet backhaul on them. Nice spread of the wifi signal. WiFi speeds top out around 400mb, but still plenty fast. Plus, the router's each have a 1GB ethernet port as well, so it's great to connect an AppleTV or my work laptop Smilie

You're right. My bad. That doesn't bother me at all from NE but I should have thought others might care.

Curious, can routers be used as points? And if not, what's the purpose of a 2 or 3 pack router?

I've had four of them running for over two years now and aside from rebooting them manually once a week, I've had no issues.
"rebooting them manually once a week" sounds awful.

even reboot every three months sounds too much to me.

I'd like any equipment maybe reboot once per year (when it need fimeware upadte).

Why do you need to reboot them manually weekly?
