If you buy this, be sure to run Windows Defender and remediate any findings when you first set it up (or better yet, reformat and reinstall.) The installed RGB control software contains malware [audiokarma.org].

How do the internals compare to a ROG Ally? I need a living room gaming PC and was initially thinking of a ROG Ally X but don't need the on screen monitor so this could be up my alley if it's considerably more powerful

I assume the link should take you to a thread but it's taking me to the forum home page...

I'd imagine reformatting it would also remove the malware yes?

That was my exact thought too, no way they'd just throw it on the OS and call it good, I'm sure greater efforts have been made.

I really want to mess with a 7735hs system and this price is my sweetspot, but I'll likely have to wait until a reputable brand like beelink comes down

I am so OOTL when it comes to graphics cards on PC/laptops these days. Can someone smarter than me tell me if this is decent enough to play some current-gen FPS, like COD, XDefiant, etc?

What's the chances of there being malware in the hardware (BIOS, etc) that you can't even format?

This should play newer stuff but at low settings, 60fps 1080p etc

COD is a mess, I can't imagine this would be playable even at 1080P.
