you can create a browser shortcut that filters your search to only show things sold and shipped by amazon

in chrome, brave, edge or firefox, go to brookmarks, create a new book mark, put in the following as the URL:

name it whatever you want, save it. next time when you search for something on amazon, like shampoo for example, once you are looking at the search result, hit this new bookmark you made and the search will show only items sold by amazon. sometimes amazon will not have the buy box due to item being back ordered, but if you check list of sellers, amazon will be there

The execs who think of these promos are honestly braindead. Instead of rewarding cardholders for keeping their card on Amazon, they're rewarding people for removing their card so they can be eligible for the next promo.
