May as well post the direct link to the seller's on site for even more savings at $2219.95, but as others mention, this is highly likely grey market (int'l version without USA warranty) and an ever day price. Lots of other Sony cameras too for decent savings if you don't mind giving up on warranty. I've bought grey market Sony lens without issue (35mm f2.8 zeiss, 35mm f1.8, 85 f1.8, etc) but not sure I would on the body unless the price was right which this is tempting.

On a personal note, if you're buying such a great camera, go for the body only and buy a non kit lens for a truly great camera setup. Manuf give out kit lens for cheap for a reason to squeeze out more profits leaving eBay flooded with kit lens once you realize the truth that it's the lens that will be your investment and not the body. Only kit lens that is great is probably Fuji imo.

Makes sense. I wasn't aware that 6AVE is a grey market importer. I was almost ready to pull the plug on this one but seems like it'd be a good idea to delete this post.

Like the other guy said, just grab the body and a better lens separately. You should be able to get similar price on greentoe ($1.9k - $2.1k range). No tax (~$130) and price difference (~$130) makes up for lens if you bought it used.

.edu price at bhphoto for a7iv was $1,790ish a while back.
