Yes. I've had this Bosch 800 series model (an earlier version but essentially the exact same dishwasher) for 8 years and it is hands down the best dishwasher I've ever owned (and I'm 60). I loved it from the day I got it and as a bonus it's been reliable and looks and performs like new 8 years later. I like the top-control version because over time, external controls will show wear long before the dishwasher dies. You sacrifice external displays showing how long the cycle has left, but the look is clean and there's a little light at the floor that shows you it's running.Bosch 500 and 800 series dishwashers all have the same guts. The differences are in the controls, design, racks, and cycles. It's nearly impossible to sort out all the models, but what most people don't realize is that no matter what model you get, you can customize your Bosch dishwasher using some codes in the manual. For example if you want less energy efficiency and more drying (like an American dishwasher), you can configure that after the dishwasher is installed. I love Costco for appliances and here's what you need to know: The contractors will do what you ask them to do. Otherwise they may do the minimum. I've had appliances like washers and dryers and dishwashers delivered and they set it up and start a cycle to show it's working, then are ready to leave. But I always ask:"After you haul away this one, can you give me a few minutes to clean behind it?"
"Oh, sure. We'll wait."
After it's installed, "Did you level the appliance? I have a bubble level here if you'd like to use it."
"Oh, sure, we'd be happy to do that." And they take a few minutes and do it."Did you hook up the steam function? This washer has a steam function."
"Oh, you want that? Sure. We can get a steam kit from the truck." And they do. No charge. They are always nice and willing and never charge extra for whatever hardware is needed. But you have to watch what they're doing and ask.
"Basic" installation, they will hook up the drain hose and connect the power. They will not drill or do anything which requires "additional services". Source - I've used Costco for a dishwasher in the past and most recently a all-in-one washer/dryer combo for my rental. Thank you.
I just had this dishwasher installed by a Costco contractor with haul away of my previous GE dishwasher. I saw a lot of negative reviews about installers on Costco's website, but my installers were very communicative, wore shoe covers, made sure nothing ever dragged on my hardwood floors, they expanded the hole in my cabinet to fit the drain hose, and they installed the Bosch junction kit I bought since my previous dishwasher was hardwired, all without trying to get any more money out of me.

Does Costco install include drilling hole into cabinet and providing connection? I have space but no prior dishwasher installed, press next to sink with power access with garbage disposal

I did read their installation policy but still not very clear

If anyone knows, it's much appreciated

We have two. They are quiet and work great.

The full quietness aspect is really more of a question of how well can it seal in the hole you have for it.

There seemed to be lots of reviews about the 300 and 500 series not being very dry and these do actually dry them.

If you are the least bit handy - this isn't that hard of an install. you can likely do that prep work so that all they have to do is run the line through.

This is the one that performs remote washing. You don't have to load it. Dishes within 30 ft are washed in situ

This dishwasher is so quiet you have to learn to check the red light that shines on the floor to see that it's on. That's the only problem I've had so far to put it in perspective. It's a great dishwasher, best I've owned after four different dishwashers in different homes. Clean the filter every month or two if you tend to put dishes in messy.

This one is imported from Germany. It includes the water softener which is great to have if you live in an area with harder water. Take the time to set it up and you can buy the dishwasher salt for it at Amazon. It also has WiFi smart features, Crystal Dry which is the best, and it's a tall tub, not ADA, which is also good. So, the answer to your question is this is the one you want.

It comes with a 3 prong outlet plug cord. If your current dishwasher is wired into a junction box they sell a separate cord for the install with a box attached for like $20.

I was just going to strip the cord, but the manual explicitly noted not to. Could just be a cash grab, but I figure a $20 cord is worth it to not void the warranty.

That's because it's all contracted out. It's not like any of them work for Costco, so your experience will vary from one to the next. I ended up having to pay an additional $200 when I got this installed, but otherwise the contractor did a good job, was nice, and cleaned up well
