Just Google "Galaxy Watch 4 Overheating"... Hardware issue which makes the GW4 unusable.
I had 2 watch4 and they never had heat issues. Far from unusable.

I doubt they would reuse processors from a watch4.

A small percentage of people having an issue doesn't make a product unusable. That's quite the exaggeration. There are people still posting in the galaxy watch subreddit about using their GW4 with no issues.

By your standards, every tech product ever made is unusable.

I have an old Gear S2 Classic in good condition. It's not listed for trade-in under "Samsung" brand, but I wonder if I can trade it in as "Other". What happens if they don't accept trade-in? Do you get charged full price and the trade-in gets returned?

Watch 6 is showing $120 after Watch 4 trade-in for me. That's probably better than this.
