Ring is not a good product due to their subscription plan. I purchased a camera 2 years ago with the subscription plan of $30 per month every year they have added 10 dollars every year and they recently made it up to $50 per month when I called them and asked for the reason the representative told me that they increase their price because of all the innovation and upkeep!!! and he confirmed that although the price has been almost doubled from 30 to 50, they are not offering any new services or the features. I am in the market for a camera system that is more reasonably priced.

Guess it depends if your neighborhood's chance of committing crime against you and your life, or package. Or how annoyed one is with solicitors to pay that much. This is more of a public service imo that they might as well tax and make everyone install it, much like a mailbox. They are tracking us, police found it useful, make everyone think twice before stealing all those candies in Halloween offerings unsupervised.
