Linked is the online version of this item (which is a 2-pack for $90). Local Costco has these for $29.99 in-store. Normally $39.99 and currently $10 off. Not sure if it's a nationwide offer, but $29.99 for a collapsable camp chair that only weights like 3 pounds seems pretty decent

I bought this a few weeks ago when it was $32. It's actually 4.4 lbs and packs down somewhat big for hiking. It's more sturdy and comfortable than other cheap smaller chairs. It should be great for car camping and outdoor events in general.

I threw it under the cargo space, nice and small, but takes a bit of time to set up and not just unfold and sit.

It's a similar design to many other chairs, with elastic-linked poles, but it has a couple more poles to make the back taller.

BTW a top brand in these type of chairs is Helinox. The Helinox equivalent [rei.com] of this chair is 1 lb lighter, has a 320 lb capacity, but costs a whopping $165. It has a 5 year warranty compared to the 1 year of the chair in this deal.

Bought this a few seasons ago for $15-20 on clearance.

Not ideal for a true backpacker. Also not great for a quick and easy set up.
If I only need a seat for a short period, If I'm sitting close to where I park, I do not grab this seat from my garage.

That being said, I love it. Anytime I need to carry a chair long distance, this is what I grab. If I'm planning to use the seat a long time, it's worth the set up. If I'm limited on space, this is great. If you want to stow a seat in the truck to have at all times, perfect.

I can set mine up in 3 minutes tops. Solid upgrade over basic camp chairs, about 20x more comfortable. I have enjoyed a couple catnaps in mine. 10/10 recommend
