Takes 20% off the list price of $339.99. So $133 - $68 = $65.

This package qualifies for the Save 20% when you trade-in a qualifying Amazon device. I selected to trade in an old dot for $3 and instantly got the 20% off. Made this bundle $64.99 plus tax.

Not sure, but won't want to take a chance if you cancel trade, they will charge the $133..

Besides, the dot isn't even worth $5.. they can have it!

Is there a way to get these to work locally (RTSP) without the cloud subscription?

It looks like a great deal at first. But, I decided not to get it after watching Youtube reviews.
Deal breakers (for me):
1. No timestamp
2. Without Subscription: 1. No continuous view (5 mins only) 2. No preview/thumbnail on recordings (have to click on each one) 3. Many other features become unusable (2-way audio, person detection, recordings)
$10 a month means I have to pay at least $120 per year.
3. Some others. But, the first 2 broke the deal for me
Also, I'm not getting as much discount as people here (only 20% off the $133)

Had/have same issue. ... was told "Thank you so much for waiting, upon checking here with my lead, the 20% will be applied once the item was already sent to us, and to inspect the product that you wanted to trade, so that's when they'll offer you the 20% discount". ... When the credit doesn't appear (which it won't), will chat again with Amazon, offer to provide them a screenshot of the previous chat exchange and they will ultimately credit me with the stupid $26.
I've got the inside scoop as to exactly what happened, what Amazon said would happen, and how we resolved everything.

The actual issue was this:
  • When you visit the Product Page and click the link on the "Save 20% with Trade-In" banner, it initiates a Trade-in.
  • They issue you a gift card instantly once you select your item (mine was $5) and attach the 20% promotion to your account.
  • If you add the item to your cart, visit your cart, then proceed to checkout, you will see the discount on the screen before the Place Order button.
  • HOWEVER if you remove the item from your cart and re-add it, the promotion may not appear.
  • The Product Page shows the same banner, but clicking the trade-in link re-starts the process again.
  • Going through the Trade-In process again gives you ANOTHER gift card and re-attaches the promotion. BUT it's not re-attaching a new promotion - it's attaching the one from your ORIGINAL Trade-In order.
  • Amazon has a Trade-In management page [amazon.com] that shows you all the Trade-ins you've initiated this way. Only one of them will show the promotion attached. I didn't realize this and I canceled all the Trade-Ins except the most recent one. On the first Trade-In, I see "expired promotion" with the 20% discount.

A previous Customer Service representative suggested (as was said to you) that once the Trade-In was completed, the 20% promotion would appear on the account. I took my item to the Amazon center and it Completed the trade-in instantly, but no promotion appeared on my account (just as you predicted!)

I explained the situation and provide the TRN trade-in order numbers showing the completed trade-in, and the expired promotion on the cancelled trade-in, and the gentlemen in chat forwarded me to a person on the phone. Rather than re-explain everything to her, I asked the phone lady to read the chat, which she did, and she understood. She told me she could have the Promotions Team add the missing promotion to my account, but that could take 24 hours, so she instead offered me a courtesy credit in the amount of 20% of the item that was already in my cart so I could make the purchase right away.

Combined with the 10% Blink Subcription discount (which I got by signing up for a $10 month of Plus and buying a $27 refurbished doorbell, then adding the doorbell to my Blink account and linking the Blink account to Amazon), and the Amex 40% off (max $40) with $10 of Membership Reward Points spend, and the $5 gift card, I got the camera system for under $20. It took a lot of work but I think it's worth it in the end!

Good luck with Amazon CS - I had to go through roughly six people who all either transferred me around or told me incorrect things before I got people who could actually help.

Incorrect things Amazon CS told me:
  • "The Trade-In promotion won't work on a Prime Deal-discounted item. You're getting a good deal already." <- As a SlickDealer, I took particular offense to this.
  • "The 20% Promotion will be added to your account once the Trade-In has been Completed." <- Not if the promotion isn't listed on your Trade-In account. And if it is there, it is likely on the account already, ready for use.
  • "Sure, I can help you." <- ...Right before transferring me to someone else with no context

So anyway, that's what I had to do to get this deal working. Hope this helps someone!

It's true there is no timestamp in the video (dumb), but if you share the video the beginning timestamp is embedded in the filename.

My Blink Plus 10% discount does not stack, rather it only gave me $19 trade in credit making the total $85.

The 20% is being calculated based of the sale price $132 and not the original price. It now comes down to $110.

Can you use these without a subscription plan? I already have RING but their outside cameras are expensive.

Did you make sure you linked your blink account to your Amazon account?
I did the following on Sunday night - rejoined Prime for a 30 day trial (in case any good deals for Prime days), traded in an Amazon tap refurbished for 20% off and a $5 AGC, linked my grandfathered free Blink account to Amazon and signed up for the $3 a month basic Blink plan. Total after all discounts applied was $72.

I received the 10% Blink Plus discount, but only a portion of the 20% trade in discount (only $19).

even tho this deal expired, I was able to still get the discount. I'm not sure if it was because I already had it in my cart.

Anyways, I did the blink plan thing. the blink plan was a free trial i had from an old device i got years ago. once i applied it to my old device, i refreshed my cart and the 10% discount applied. I was able to get it down to $100. once i send in my old dot, i'll get $20 off from the 20% discount off sale price. $80 is still decent.

I haven't sent in the trade-in yet, which is only $2. Wonder what happens if I don't send it in. Will they clawback the entire discount or just the $2. Anyone?
