Have the small version of this and originally I really liked it but somehow the blade is now way offf centered

Have you tightened the frame screw? These are pretty simple in practice, usually loose frame clearance allows them to get out of line.

Looks like $30 is a common price. Watch out when you go to checkout - product page said arriving next day but order page said 5 days with no option. Look at the third-party sellers and there are several around $22 if you are going to be waiting anyways.
