*Note I'm not going to go back and reread the scientific papers but if anyone wants to correct me with data feel free looking up red 40 dose rats, but by the same token here's the full quote from the person's link:
"Researchers also found tumor growth in animals that consumed high doses of food dyes, though it can be hard to translate what this means for kids," says Zumpano. (They go on to say you really shouldn't give kids processed food at all and you should send them to school with fruit for snacks avoiding all artificial dyes and flavoring etc)
