There is a YMMV Amex offer that gives $15 back if you spend $50. Could work here if you spend more for upgrades more than one pair.

This would be important if glasses in brick & mortar stores didn't cost $400.

Poor quality lenses, they get scratched soon and anti reflective coating is worst. I would pay for better quality lens and frame then buying online. You get what you pay for
I've been buying Zenni glasses for over 10 years and never once had an issue with scratches or the AR coating. Can't say that for Lenscrafters or Costco, both had AR coating flaking off after a few years.

When I get the lenses in the steps, it has a default of a gray tint. are these basically the transition lenses that get darker in sunlight? Not sure if I want those...

Yup. looks like that is what they are. dang. I don't wear them a lot, but I am pretty sure I don't want that feature.

Why does price say $16 when cheapest you can get it is $25? Days of transparency on SD are over. Bait and switch is here

Do you need to have a valid prescription? Mine is expired
Ask your eyes - if you are still wearing that prescription.

I had 1 pair of sunglasses get a small hole in the coating. Now, I can see a pinhole-sized dot in mine. It's annoying. Since they have a short warranty, I can't get them replaced. Price-wise, Zenni is still better but quality, I can't say for sure. They are 50/50 to me.

Ditto. Never had an issue with Zenni glasses scratching and I'm been using them for well over 10 years.

Doesn't seem to work for readers. Anyone else? I don't have a rx so I thought to just get a .75 reader.
I had some progressives in my cart and there was an option to add readers to the order. I added the readers and deleted the progressives. Came out under $30 ($16 frames).

because the deal is on the lens type, not the glasses as a whole. hence why the title of the post does not say PAIR OF GLASSES

Title is 100% accurate as it only states the pricing for the lenses.

From what I can tell, blokz photochromic lenses are very unpopular. Also a little looking tells me that they seem to be pretty normally in this price range and the "original price" is a joke
