There is a YMMV Amex offer that gives $15 back if you spend $50. Could work here if you spend more for upgrades more than one pair.

This would be important if glasses in brick & mortar stores didn't cost $400.

Such clickbait since you can't buy lenses by themselves (why would you?) so the $13 is highly misleading.

Great deal for an extra pair of glasses, or a fun pair or backup pair. Thanks OP

Deal worked pretty much for me. Last time I ordered from Zenni I skipped photochromatic because it was sky high. Finally a decent deal on progressive glasses that are also sunglasses.

Don't ever get blue block coating. Your glasses will always have a little haze on them that will never go away no matter how much you clean them. Last I read the entire blue light thing was totally overblown.

Thanks OP!

With my Zenni rewards member of free shipping of orders over $25, I was able to get the 1.61 photo chromatic lens with a $12.95 frame of my choice for ~$25.

Great deal! Been ordering from Zenni for many years now in the hundreds of dollars of orders. This is definitely slick if you like the lens type.
I also was able to use a birthday coupon of $20 off $75, even my birthday is not anywhere near June 30.

Ask your eyes - if you are still wearing that prescription.
My question was.. Does the website need a valid prescription? I know I dont but most eye places need a valid (Dr Signature within 2 yrs) script.

You can manually enter your prescription AND put in any date that you want to. Thus, you do not need a "current" prescription to order.

That's only for contacts. You can enter whatever whatever values you want. They don't ask you to upload anything for glasses, nor do any verification.

You should still be going to the eye doctor and getting regular check ups. Even if you've had the same prescription for years. If you are near sighted, around 40 your prescription will start needing to be toned down a little as your eye shape changes. If you were able to read without glasses, you will start no longer being able to.

Poor quality lenses, they get scratched soon and anti reflective coating is worst. I would pay for better quality lens and frame then buying online. You get what you pay for
I agree with you completely, but people tell me otherwise. Good deal for people who don't actually care about quality or want to be extra thrifty with their eyewear.

Is it our deligence to see if the prescription fits the frame or not , or the checkout process warns us if there is any issue ?
